Anika Noni is an American actress and vocalist. Most famously, she is known for her role as Tiana Disney's first African-American princess in The Princess and the Frog. Disney Legends featured her as one in 2011. Rose played Lorrell Robertson, the character in Dreamgirls and was awarded the Academy Award. Anika Noni Rose is an American actor, singer and songwriter. She's also known for performing on stage, particularly because of her starring role as Emmie Thibodeaux in the Broadway production of Caroline or Change (2004), for which she was awarded the Tony Award Best Female Featured Performer Award was given to her and Beneatha Youther from the Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun (2015) to which the Tony Award Best Female Featured Performance in a Play nominated her.

Angelina Marie Pivarnick grew up in Staten Island. She was born 26 June 1986. Pivarnick became an American celebrity in reality television after being invited to join the prestigious crew of the M.T.V. Jersey Shore (2010, a couple of episodes) during seasons first and second.
