Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born January 31, 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was produced by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk have been the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching while at work, and also attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk played in a variety of commercials for kids. Silk was a graduate of St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move out of Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an Actorsworkshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. The couple was engaged in 2009, and then married in a civil ceremony that was held in December. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows at an Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she got the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was expecting while shooting the final season of the third series. The actress announced her pregnancy to the viewers in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special of 6 January 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on 20 June 2013, that the production was set to begin on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4 of the show. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top TV Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its growing popularity on social networks has gained a significant online following.
